About this piece
A sweet pair of vintage plaster bookends of a sleeping shepherd boy with his lamb and a sleeping girl holding a floral wreath. Beautifully modelled in soft hand-painted tones and raised on black plinth bases, they capture the romantic pastoral style popular during the Art Deco period. Vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, including minor chips, scuffs, paint loss and age-related surface wear that add to their character and authenticity.
