A rare pair of Wire Cone Chairs designed by Verner Panton for Fritz Hansen.
Perhaps most famously implemented in Panton’s outfitting of the Astoria Hotel in Trondheim, Norway, the Wire Cone Chair is a striking example of his innovative approach to form and function.
Its sculptural wire frame and elegant, airy silhouette made it an icon of mid-century modern design and it saw a resurgence during the Postmodern era in the 1980s. Today, it remains a celebrated design classic.
