About this piece
An iconic and beautifully slender 1950s Daydream twin-head pedestal lamp in original vintage condition. Exceptionally solid in construction, it features a heavy cast base, metal surrounds with gorgeous gold detailing, and its original matte black finish.
Both adjustable goose-neck arms allow you to direct the light exactly where you need it, while the individual switches positioned on top of each head offer easy operation. The beautifully shaped metal shades can be tilted upwards to create soft ceiling ambience or angled down for comfortable reading - making this a wonderfully versatile floor lamp.
Retaining its original finish with a gentle, authentic patina, this piece can be enjoyed exactly as it is or repainted to suit your interior. Either way, it remains a timeless piece of Australian mid-century lighting history.
Presented in original vintage condition.
