Description: This vintage mahogany pedestal plant stand is inspired by classical Greek architecture, featuring a beautifully proportioned column raised on a substantial stepped square plinth base. The richly figured mahogany displays a warm patina that highlights the timber's natural beauty.
The shaped top is supported by an ornately carved capital decorated with acanthus leaf motifs, a design element synonymous with classical Corinthian architecture. Below the capital, turned rings encircle the column and are repeated at the base, creating a balanced and elegant profile.
Constructed with a solid, heavy base for stability, this pedestal is ideal for displaying a sculpture, urn, bust, lamp or plant, while also serving as an impressive decorative feature in a hallway, living room or entrance.
