About this piece
France
1980s
A refined French tray from the 1980s, crafted in woven cane with a clear plexiglass frame and integrated hand-cut openings trimmed in brass. The mix of warm natural fibre and crisp acrylic gives it that light, modern decorative language seen in French design of the era: understated, airy and effortlessly elegant.
The form is simple; a clean rectangular profile, gently raised edges and a beautifully woven rattan base that brings texture without heaviness. A versatile styling piece for consoles, bedside tables or bar settings.
