A Spanish Baroque Walnut and Wrought-Iron Trestle Table, Mesa de Fiador, Late 19th / Early 20th Century,
The rectangular single-board top with a thick, softly worn edge, raised on a pair of splayed lyre-form trestle supports, each with a moulded bracket beneath the top, joined at the base by shaped and notched stretchers secured with through-tenons and pegs, braced by a pair of hand-forged wrought-iron fiadores crossing beneath the top, with turned disc collars and scrolled terminals.
