These are an excellent quality set of eight genuine Antique English William IV period ( 1830 to 1837 ) Dining Chairs crafted from solid cuts of imported top quality well figured Central American Mahogany and desirably still feature the original French polish finish which is now nicely mellowed and has good patination.
The chairs (two end / carver chairs and six side chairs ) feature a deep supportive and well shaped curved top rail, scrolled arms on the end / carver chairs, comfortable full sized sprung seats straight seat rails and turned and boldly reeded front legs.
As these chairs have been consigned to us to sell on behalf of a vendor they bare offered for sale as is and are priced accordingly. Some chairs are a little loose at the rear seat joint however we can have them professionally tightened if required at a trade / cost to us basis.
Condition: These chairs have been consigned in for sale on behalf of our vendor so are offered for sale in as is very good condition commensurate with age and use.Ant work a purchaser may require can be organised to be done on their behalf and at a trade price.
