This is a wonderful Games Box. It is a genuine antique, French, Paris made in the early 1900s. The box is leather bound and has been finished in the Oriental taste with a pressed Japanese design which has then been painted and extensively gold tooled.
Internally the exceptional quality continues with the interior also lined in black leather with extensive gold tooled embellishments and lift out ‘open’ internal boxes which contain the various games.
The superb quality is exemplified by the magnificent chased and gilt lock engraved SUSSE PARIS.
Overall exceptional condition for its age.
