About this piece
Handwoven from willow and aged over 60 years, this authentic Chinese grain basket originates from rural Shanxi where it was traditionally used for harvesting and transporting rice. They feature a sturdy timber handle and some with original calligraphy painted on its side—markers of its genuine heritage and craftsmanship.
Use it to hold firewood, blankets, textiles, or seasonal décor, where its weathered patina and functional form add character to any interior.
