About this piece

Offered for sale is an exquisitely rare and beautiful 'space or atomic age' designer chairs by the German Designer Konrad Schaefer from 1960's-69. The only set I've ever seen in Australia (were privately imported by Jewish immigrants during the 60's whom I bought them from).

Please note the fibreglass seat pulls off from the base for easy transport. They are all in overall excellent condition albeit a little worse for wear in some areas given their over 40-50 years of usage. Ikea would be a better source for you in case you are seeking the perfect finish. Seat rotates around over the static elegantly shaped and structurally sound timber base. Price shown herein is for the set of 4 inclusive of the original almost perfect red seat cushions. The fibreglass seats still wears its original white gel coat finish with no cracks etc.
