Antique French later 19th century Mahogany upright Display Cabinet with Mounts and inlays..

This is a good later genuine antique French later 1880s upright single door Mahogany with Brass marquetry inlay and cast Brass decorative mounts Display cabinet. It also has a brown and white Marble top and a three sided pierced Brass Gallery and is all supported on elegant cabriole legs. Inside the cabinet has three display shelves and a storage area the panelled lower door. It also has a vintage lighting system and is lined in a silk ‘water mark’ fabric The front door the cabinet has the remnants of a gold British Antique Dealers Association ( BADA ) Seal which was used to identify it as a a genuine antique for export purposes and as such was exempt from import duties. This system has not been used in Australia since the late 1970s. Condition: Very Good. We can clean and polish the Brass however one decorator suggested that it would look great if a customer instructed us to get the mounts gilded. Size: Width 63cm x Depth 32cm x Height 170cm.
