This is a good quality antique English wall mirror with later conservation and additions.
The circular frame with an inner carvetto arch and a fine string of pearls decoration has been refurbished and regilded.
The glass is convex and is surrounded by a black finely reeded slip. The frame is surmounted by a carved gessoed and gilded timber Eagle with wings out spread. At the base are a pair of opposed scrolled sconces that are later added however add to the over all decorative appeal and may be used for candles.
Condition: over all excellent for age.
