15.8 cm. (6 1/4 in.) high; 33.8 cm. (13 1/4 in.) diameter.
Condition: very good with minimal wear from light use.
Artist Biography
Born in Adelaide in 1970, Mark Thiele is a leading figure in contemporary Australian studio glass. He received his Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) from the Australian National University, Canberra, before establishing a long-standing association with the JamFactory Contemporary Craft and Design centre in Adelaide. In 2001, he was the recipient of the prestigious Ranamok Glass Prize, the premier award for glass artists in Australia and New Zealand.
His work is represented in major public and private collections, including:

National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
Parliament House Art Collection, Canberra.
Wagga Wagga Art Gallery (National Art Glass Collection).
Literature & Exhibition
Thiele’s work has been exhibited extensively within Australia, notably in the This Australian Life exhibition (2019) and various solo showcases at the JamFactory. Ranamok Glass Prize winner entrant and finalist.
