Lovely amber glass "Bristol" vase made by Bagley in England. The piece is marked "British Made" on the bottom. Excellent vintage condition showing minimal wear and has no chips or cracks. The piece has small "bubbles" imperfections that we feel only add to the beauty of the piece. A functional piece and use as intend or display as a decorative collectors piece. Perfect gift for the vintage collector. HistoryBagley & Co (originally Bagley, Wild & Co) was founded in 1871 by William Bagley and John Wild, in Knottingley, Yorkshire, England. Originally making bottles until 1912 branching out into domestic crystal and pressed glassware. Bagley & Co became one of the UK's most successful glass manufacturers, producing pressed glass up until the company closed in 1975. H: 10cm L: 21 cm end to end W: 9.2 cm across the middle side to side. W: 4 cm at points. Lovely feature ribbs on sides and ends as well as scalloped rim. I would assume this vase once upon a time also included a Flower Frog.
