A standout icon of Italian modern design, the Cassina “Cardigan” Armchairs by Vico Magistretti fuse sculptural presence with exceptional comfort. With their generously proportioned form and enveloping silhouette, these armchairs embody a relaxed yet sophisticated ethos — perfect for both contemporary and classic interiors.
Crafted by Cassina, one of Italy’s most respected design houses, the Cardigan armchairs showcase premium materials and meticulous attention to detail. The deeply padded seat and back are upholstered in luxurious leather, embracing the sitter with soft, inviting comfort. Signature rounded armrests and a low, lounge-ready profile give the piece its distinctive character, evoking both timeless elegance and relaxed refinement.
Magistretti’s masterful balance of form and function is evident in every aspect: from the harmonious proportions to the subtle expression of comfort-driven geometry. The result is a piece that comforts as much as it captivates — a true collector’s piece for design aficionados and a statement lounge chair for discerning interiors.
Whether placed as a pair in a living room, as a focal point in a reading nook, or integrated into a larger seating arrangement, the Cassina Cardigan armchairs bring warmth, presence, and enduring design quality to any space.
