About this piece
MILO BAUGHMAN for THAYER COGGIN, USA 1970s
A designer and maker united by a handshake in 1953 — and Baughman stayed loyal to Thayer Coggin for fifty years. These barrel chairs are quintessential Baughman: welded chrome flat-bar frames, bold cylindrical form, and tufted black leather cushions that carry a beautiful, honest patina. Old-Hollywood theatricality with mid-century restraint. Two available, priced and sold individually.
Approx. 72W × 76D × 76H cm. Seat height approx. 41 cm.
