A vintage Trent silver plated water pitcher, marked EP A1 - the top plating grade - and REPRODUCTION OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE. Old Sheffield Plate is the pre-1840 fused technique; from the late 1800s makers produced electroplated pieces in that style and were required to say so, which is exactly what this base declares. Compact at 11cm and nicely proportioned - the sort of small jug that ends up used constantly for cream, milk or a few short stems.
CONDITION: vintage pre-owned with patina and age-related wear consistent with silver plate. Please refer to photos as they form part of the description.
