Antique French early 1800s Louis-Philippe I oval centre table in well-figured mahogany, professionally restored. The oval top presents a feature beaded perimeter moulding, with the mahogany book-matched across the surface. The apron houses a drawer to either side, each retaining its original brass keyhole escutcheon and brass lock.
The centre support column is well turned with full-height spiral detail, a lower carved ring, and a beaded carved ring collar at the base. From the small carved cylindrical base, four acanthus-carved cabriole S-scrolled legs extend, finishing in upward-scrolled toes. Original all-brass castor assemblies sit beneath.
