This very decorative large copper jug features a pressed crocodile skin effect by way of decoration. On the base are stamped the number 8, indicating that it holds 8 pints, and the letters JS&S B. It was made by J. Sankey and Sons of Bilston, near Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. It stands 355 mm (14 inches) high, with a diameter of 197 mm (7.75 inches) at the base. It is in very good condition, but sadly it doesn't hold water. It dates from around 1900
