About this piece
The matching service consists of a coffee pot, tea pot, open creamer, covered sugar bowl and six cups and saucers (duos).
Mid-19th century porcelain pattern by Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM) features a refined, neoclassically influenced design with delicate hand-painted motifs:
Floral Motifs: Each panel highlights a vertical, repeating blue tulip motif accented by fine, golden sprouting leaves and delicate gilt dotting.
Gilded Panel Dividers: Vertical fluted panels are framed by rich, burnished gold stripes bordered with fine blue accent lines.
Moulded Details & Trimming: The rims, base foot ring, and finial are trimmed in heavy gilt, with shell-moulded accents integrated into the form along the edges and lids.
All with KPM maker's marks, dates between 1847 and 1851.
