A good genuine Antique English Victorian Side Table of basically rectangular form and gently curved on either end. The superbly figured ‘book leaf’ matched top has a curved edge molding and sits on a shallow apron. The top is supported by well turned and shaped foliate carved embellished columns at either end. The columns are connected at their bases by a ‘ring’ turned cross stretcher. From the small cylindrical bases flow four short foliate carved embellished at the knees ‘cabriole’ legs with scrolled toes and original brass and porcelain castor assemblies.
In excellent near original condition.
