This is an excellent and fine quality example of a genuine antique English later Regency to George IV period ( circa 1820 ) circular tilt top centre pedestal Centre Table / Dining Table.
The table is beautifully crafted from and finished in selected prestigious imported Central American / Brazilian Rosewood now of lovely deep honey colour and featuring the typical bold abstract figuring, The top surface has two outer concentric circles of Brass line inlay. The two tier central support column has octagonal facets also with octagonal collars.
The base is of flat triform shape with curved sides and is also embellished with a brass line inlay son the top surface and a horizontal double parallel line inlay on the vertical sides so as to compliment the Tabletop. Under the base are protruding petal motif carved flattened bun feet with the castor assemblies beneath.
When not required for use the table top tilts for easy storage or for transporting the top is removable.
Condition: The Table has been photographed in its current as is good condition however a brass inlay is loose and requires relaying which we can have done and the table would benifit ( and present much better ) with a general professional refurbishment which we can organise.
