A French Provincial ornate style Bombe cabinet with a marble top and painted brass embellishment. The ‘Bombe’ cabinet is a furniture design that was popular in the 17th Century and comes from the French word meaning “curved”. Bombe chests and cabinets bulge outward in the front and on the sides and then curve in at the base. Use this piece to turn up the style volume in any room. Since bombe chests come from the French tradition, they are usually part of a traditional-style decor.
