Authentic Herman Miller Eames Soft Pad Lounge Chairs (model EA433) in a beautiful warm fawn/taupe leather. Two available - buy one or the pair.
Designed by Charles & Ray Eames and in continuous production since 1969, the Soft Pad is the more relaxed, luxuriously cushioned sibling to the iconic Aluminium Group.
These are the real thing with labels intact, serial numbers visible, classic polished chrome 5-star swivel base.
Condition: Vintage with honest wear and leather shows age-appropriate creasing and minor surface marks consistent with genuine patina. Frame, base and leather in excellent condition.

Among their most iconic designs is the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, a piece that combined plywood shell construction with luxurious comfort and became a global symbol of modern living. Earlier work like the LCW chair explored new ways of shaping wood into ergonomic forms, while their molded plastic chairs, including the DSW, brought accessible modern design into everyday dining rooms.
They also extended their thinking beyond furniture. The Eames House in California, part of the Case Study House program, shows their core philosophy clearly: modular structure, honest materials, and a deep respect for how people actually live.
