These are an extremely good and substantial, high quality, genuine, Antique English, William IV, 1830 - 1837 Set of Six Dining Chairs with the ‘show timber’ frames hand made by craftsmen from desirable imported and prestigious Central American, Brazilian Rosewood which was only used for the best quality furniture. The squared padded backs have a well carved embellished top rail and the back uprights terminate with reeded finials and like the turned and tapered front legs are reeded while the rear legs are of sabre form. The front legs terminate in original all brass castor assemblies. The seat rails are straight, vertical and plain.
Condition: The chairs are in over all very good condition for age. The upholstered seats and upholstered back panels are upholstered in leather and have a brass studded finish.
