Crafted from papier mache during the Victorian era, this chair has been ebonised, and inlaid with stunning mother of pearl all over, giving it a peacock-like appearance. The chair is further adorned with a central hand painted flower and decorative patterned gilding.
It has a cane seat, rounded back, elegant turned legs and was crafted circa 1870. It would be perfect placed in a hallway or living space as a statement decorative piece.
