About the Bobo Sun Mask
This traditional Bobo Sun Mask, also known as the Wanzega Mask, originates from the Bobo people of Burkina Faso. Used during the annual Bwa ceremony, it symbolises the sun’s energy and serves as a spiritual conduit.
Carved in a circular form representing the sun, its intricate patterns depict sun rays and ancestral spirits. During ceremonies, male performers don the mask in ritual dances, channeling its power for healing, wisdom, and spiritual renewal. A striking piece of African heritage, this mask embodies the Bobo people's deep connection to nature and the divine.

Rodwell and Astor requires a street address for all deliveries, unfortunately we do not deliver to PO boxes unless prior shipping arrangements have been made with us. Deliveries are only door to door and not brought into the premise unless stated otherwise.

We check all orders thoroughly prior to notification that your goods are ready for collection, however we encourage all pick ups to be checked at the time of collection. Collection of orders is the bearers responsibility and damage claims will not be accepted.
