This is a good example of a good quality genuine antique English earlier 19th century later Georgian period circa 1825 Carver Chair which makes an ideal Desk Chair. The classic show timber frame is well made from imported prestigious Central American Mahogany. The chair has all the correct features with its curved and tapered top rail with corner carved Egyptian influenced carved stylised folate embellishments, shaped and carved embellished waist rail, nicely scrolled arms and the front turned and tapered legs with virtually full height reeding.
Condition: The frame is solid and will clean and wax polish up nicely however the seat requires re upholstering and covering to taste. We will clean and wax polish the frame so it will present much better than in the images.
