About this piece
This Doulton Lambeth Copper Ware jug stands 178 mm (7 inches) high with a diameter of 138 mm (5.5 inches). A copper coloured glaze was applied to a high fired stoneware body that Doulton named Silicon Ware. Designed to simulate old copper items, Copper Ware pieces feature very realistic seams, rivets, dents and verdigris that would be found on old copper utensils. The base carries the Doulton Lambeth Silicon Ware stamp as well as the model number. It is in very good condition.
