Details

French three-piece clock garniture from the last quarter of the 19th century, in the Rococo Revival manner. The set features well-cast bronze mountings, fire-gilded, paired with grey marble.

The clock presents a white enamel dial with Roman numerals and spade hands; the dial is inscribed in black: “Clermont, ? Street, Honorie, Paris.” The movement is stamped 3796. The case is surmounted by a top finial and further detailed with side-mounted lion heads with rings, foliate scrolls, and crisply defined mouldings. Complete with pendulum and key.
