Mid-Century Hand-Decorated Ceramic Ashtray, likely designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi. Made in Italy stamp.
A striking vintage ceramic ashtray featuring a richly textured, hand-incised floral motif in earthy ochre, brown and black tones. The square form is finished with sculptural raised corners, giving it a graphic, almost brutalist quality.
Beautiful as a paper weight or simply styled as a decorative object or key holder, its aged surface, variations in glaze and signs of use add to its character and appeal.
