About this piece
Fully restored model MK115, beautifully crafted lounge chair designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold in Denmark circa 1950’s. This Danish Modern chair features a solid teak wood frame with a slatted back and swooping bentwood armrests.
The chair retains its original wool-upholstered cushions in a striking chartreuse adding warmth and character to its classic mid-century design. The original upholstery presents beautifully, with a rich texture and vibrant colour. New, correct Selig style support straps have been fitted beneath the seat to provide improved comfort and support while preserving the chair’s original character.
