Description
An antique French decorative trumeau mirror combining a gilt finish with hand-painted ornament and the tall architectural proportions associated with this traditional mirror form. At 181.5 cm high, it has strong visual presence and can serve as a focal point above a console, mantel or within a formal hallway or living room.
The decorative painted section and gilt treatment give the piece a layered, ornamental character while the mirror itself adds useful reflected light and scale to an interior.
