Krosno Glassworks was established in 1923 in southeastern Poland and became one of Europe’s leading producers of high-quality utility and decorative glassware. Known for combining traditional glassblowing techniques with modern production methods, Krosno gained international recognition in the post-war period, with its products exported widely and used in both domestic and formal settings. During the 1970s, the company produced a broad range of pressed and hand-finished tableware, characterised by minimalist forms and subtle textural effects that remain highly collectible today.
