Both Chairs are structurally sound
There has been a repair to the base of one chair. Appears to be very well done
No wobbling, both very good with next to no use in the last 30 years.
All buttons are included.
One chair does have a corner on the inside seat where the vinyl has slightly lifted. This is under the button in the very corner
No tears or rips in the vinyl
A couple of small marks, barely visible on each chair

His breakthrough came with the release of the Contour Chair series, which used molded plywood techniques to create flowing, human centered shapes that felt both futuristic and comfortable. Unlike many rigid modernist designs of the era, Featherston’s furniture had warmth and personality, helping define a more approachable version of mid century design.
Over the following decades, Featherston collaborated with manufacturers across Australia and became especially influential in educational and public seating. His designs balanced functionality with visual lightness, often using minimal materials to create strong sculptural identities.
