Set of three Australian mid-century Spanish Revival stools by R.G. Davis Furniture, hand-crafted in Bayswater, Victoria in the 1970s. Each stool features a sculpted dark brown leather saddle seat secured with rows of solid brass rivets, set on solid dark timber frames with the maker’s signature cloverleaf (trefoil) cut-outs. The combination of robust joinery and tactile materials reflects the era’s warm, workshop-led approach to form and function.

Two stools retain the original R.G. Davis Furniture (Vic) Pty. Ltd. label, 10 Clare Street, Bayswater VIC 3153, alongside the Victorian Guild of Furniture Manufacturers mark.

Condition:
Good original vintage condition. The solid timber frames are sturdy and stable with no wobbles or structural issues. Leather seats display natural creasing, scuffs and patina consistent with age. Timber shows light knocks and worn edges from use. No major damage or repairs; ready for regular use.
