Genuine English Victorian mirror-back credenza in walnut, an English adaptation of the French Louis XV style. The piece features a tall, solid walnut mirror frame with fine carving above a shaped white Carrara marble top with a moulded edge. The cabinet below is finished in selected walnut with notable colour and figuring.
The base section presents a wide central door flanked by side-angled doors. All doors carry mirrored panels, raised mouldings and decorative crest carvings. Between the doors are curved blind panels with raised, profiled mouldings. Inside the cupboards is a full-width shelf. The whole is set on a shaped plinth base that complements the marble and cabinet profiles.
