A true icon of style, Soriana, characterized by its curves, was designed in 1969 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and received a Compasso d'Oro the following year. In the 1960s and 1970s.
Soriana is still among the most coveted upholstered furniture for interior design projects around the world.

The architect and designer Tobia Scarpa graduated in 1969 from the University of Venice and in the same year won the "Compasso d'Oro" award for his "Soriana" armchair designed for Cassina. Since then he has received many other design awards and several of his projects are also exhibited in some of the world's leading museums, including his chair "Freedom"
