A beautiful late 19th century giltwood twin arm candelabra, carved in the French Rococo manner with scrolling acanthus and trailing leaves. I sourced this piece in the French Quarter of Montréal, The gilding shows the gentle softness you want from age, with lovely warmth to the timber beneath. This candelabra is candle lit only - it has never been electrified, and is intended for use with taper candles. Included are a pair of handmade clip-on shades in a muted blue jacquard fabric, finished with gold braid. The fabric has a soft raised botanical weave that catches the light beautifully without overpowering the carving. A timeless statement on any wall. Available with or without clip on shades.
