Ridgeway of Staffordshire “Gaywood” Pattern Tea Set for 6

From Ridgway - one of the Staffordshire potteries - this beautiful tea set for 6 is in the “Gaywood” pattern and are all backstamped. 

Decorated on a cream ground are autumnal leaves in green, grey, brown and with berries in russet. This pattern was designed and released in 1958.

6 saucers

6 cake plates

Milk jug

Sugar bowl

Serving plate

The set is in excellent vintage condition and will make for a delightful afternoon tea with cakes, sandwiches or scones!
