Glassmaking in Empoli reached its peak in the 1950s through to the early 1970s. Decorative decanters, vessels, vases and the like were exported and sold at various department stores in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia.
This glassware is now highly collectible.
This brandy balloon has been produced in a deep orange glass.
It is 12.5cm tall and does has a small chip to the base which is pictured.
