The design is defined by an ornate 24‑karat gilt rim over an intricately cut crystal body, a pattern produced by the maker in a range of forms over its long history. The Splendid pattern has been associated with formal dining; notably, the Czechoslovak president gifted Queen Elizabeth II a selection of Splendid crystal for her wedding in 1947.
This example retains its original retail label and carries an acid‑etched ‘Moser’ signature to the underside, together indicating post‑1992 production.
