Details

Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation was created in 1937 from the merger of Hocking Glass with the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation. A few years later, in 1942, they introduced their hugely popular “Fire-King” glassware, which continued in production until the late 1970’s. Fire-King is made from pressed opaque glass that is oven safe.

This set of snack cups and plates were released as a part of the Fire-King line by Anchor Hocking. They are in the ‘Blue Mosaic’ pattern which features graduated blue squares in a starburst pattern on the white milk glass background.

This set is highly collectible with the pattern only running from 1966-1969.

There are four cups and four snack plates in the set. The cups are 6.5cm tall and 8cm in diameter. The snack plates are 25.5cm long and 19cm wide.

This set is in great condition with no chips or cracks. There is a minimal amount of wear to some of the blue on the cups.
