Hornsea Pottery Red ‘Stripes’ designed jam pot by John Clappison

The “Stripes” series was designed by John Clappison in 1966 and was in production in the 1970’s.

 It has a distinctive screen printed vertical stripe pattern, and was produced in red, blue, green and yellow colourways.

This flour shaker is in the most popular colourway of red. This jam pot presents beautifully and has no chips or cracks.

There is a slight surface crack of the pot.

This pot measures 9cm tall and 8cm in diameter (11cm x 8.5cm including lid).
