Hornsea Pottery ‘Heirloom’ designed medium blank canister by John Clappison

Heirloom was Hornsea’s first complete range of tableware, and was designed by John Clappison in 1966 and was in production from 1967-1987.

It has a distinctive screen printed black pattern, along with the well designed forms.

This blank canister is in the most popular colourway of Autumn Brown.

This canister presents beautifully and has no chips or cracks. The wooden lid is in good condition. There is a small amount of crazing to the canister.

This canister stands at 15cm tall.
