The Scheurich company became one of the largest manufacturers of ceramics in Germany from the 1950s to the 1980s. They exported more than any other ceramic company in Germany. They were the most prolific of all the manufacturers of the era and offered the widest range of shapes and glazes.
This gorgeous vintage mid century West German Scheurich ceramic handled vase has a lovely brown and light tan fat lava glaze. It is a delightful bulb shape with two central horizontal bands going around the vase.
Marked underneath W. Germany with the model number 428-26. Produced in the 1960’s.
This vase has no chips, cracks or imperfections.
