About this piece
Italian postmodern low-profile sofa in red leather from the 1980s. Emerging from late 1970s and 1980s design, it reflects the period’s shift toward softness and volume over rigid formal structure.
A removable duvet-style top cover creates the relaxed, draped profile associated with pieces such as Ligne Roset’s Flou Flou and other deep lounge sofas of the era, prioritising comfort while retaining a clear architectural presence. The wide block base and low seat height ground the form, while the rich red leather brings a warm, atmospheric character often absent from later reproductions. Conceived to anchor a room, it carries the late postmodern softness that reads collected rather than staged.
Dimensions: 170 cm W x 87 cm D x 75 cm H (Seat 40 cm H)
