A Regency mahogany demilune tea table, the hinged top opening to form a circular surface, above a deep curved apron and raised on four slender turned legs.The table is particularly attractive for its figured mahogany, with pronounced grain across the curved apron contrasting with the more restrained timber of the top. The edge is finished with fine reeded moulding, while the turned legs have ringed collars and gently taper towards shaped feet. Its restrained form and fine proportions are characteristic of the late Georgian and Regency period.In good antique condition, with surface marks, wear and minor losses consistent with age and use.England, Regency Period, Early 19th Century.Dimensions: 104 cm long × 52 cm wide × 71 cm high.
