About this piece
A stunning set of six vintage carved timber dining chairs, full of character and beautiful old-world detail.
The chairs feature deeply carved timber crest rails, ornate decorative motifs, dramatic serpentine/wave-shaped legs, and beautifully carved stretcher supports. The rich dark timber has developed a lovely aged patina, complemented by the original-style burnt orange/rust velvet upholstery.
The combination of the dark carved timber and vibrant orange velvet gives these chairs a wonderfully European, Spanish, Gothic Revival / Baroque-inspired aesthetic. They have a real presence and would make a fantastic statement around a large dining table.
