About this piece
The Graph conference chair sets new standards for exclusive conference rooms. Its name says it all: the graphic quality of the modern form is convincing at first glance.
An innovative design approach involves cutting the organic seat shell horizontally and vertically and then reassembling it in a modified way. This results in an exciting interplay of flowing forms and clear lines, closed surfaces and transparent openings.
In addition to its impressive appearance, the Graph also offers outstanding seating comfort. The elaborate upholstery of the seat and back, as well as the elastic mounting on a Y-beam and a rear central spring, guarantee a first-class seating experience. Steel frames, tensioned with wave springs, foamed and provided with padded overlays, underline the high quality of workmanship.
Elegant covers, delicate armrests and a frame made of coated, bright-chrome-plated or matte-polished aluminum give the Graph chair a particularly high-quality look. The Active mechanism, which allows for a flexible sitting position, provides additional freedom of movement. Thanks to its infinitely variable height adjustment, the Graph is not only suitable as a conference chair, but also as a high-quality executive chair.
Graph is the perfect combination of timeless design, maximum comfort and high-quality workmanship.

Design Story
Founded in 1907 near Hanover, Wilkhahn began as a traditional furniture manufacturer before evolving into a pioneer of contemporary workplace design. In the decades following World War II, the company embraced modernism and developed a philosophy centered around functionality, movement, and long term quality.
Wilkhahn became especially influential through its focus on ergonomics and dynamic sitting. Rather than designing static office chairs, the company explored how furniture could support natural movement and improve wellbeing during long hours of work. This approach led to innovations like the Wilkhahn ON Chair, whose three dimensional movement system helped redefine modern ergonomic seating.
Unlike many corporate furniture brands, Wilkhahn placed equal importance on engineering and visual restraint. Its furniture often features clean architectural lines, premium materials, and subtle detailing that reflects a distinctly German approach to design: precise, intelligent, and understated.
Today, Wilkhahn furniture is found in executive offices, creative workspaces, and institutions around the world. The brand remains closely associated with the evolution of the modern workplace, where comfort, movement, and design are increasingly seen as inseparable.
